This was my first attempt at decorating one of our new Voice Recorders. There's a lot going on, but I'll just highlight a few things. The recorders come all white, with the top being a paper material - ready to stamp on or ink up or even cover up with another piece of paper. For mine, I used a paper piercer to scrape a slight border just inside the edge. Then I used a sponge and Cranberry ink and inked up the whole front of the recorder. I just assembled the rest of the pieces to form my "scene". I added a clear Sparkle on the on/off button on the lower right. Then finished it off by adding a ribbon on the back using a few glue dots. The ribbon will allow this to be an ornament on our tree. And we'll be able to hear our kids singing "Away in a Manger" for years to come. :)
